This weekend, the  P2000 WinWin Padel Cabriès  It's not quite like the others. While the tournament is already one of the major events on the French calendar, it will also mark  the end of an era This is indeed the  last P2000 organized in the historical format , with only four stages per season.

Starting in September, the French Tennis Federation will be changing its elite circuit.  P2000s will be replaced by P3000s , a new category that will award more points and become the new pinnacle of the national circuit.

However, be careful: the  P2000s will not disappear completely With the reform, the current  P1500s will be renamed P2000 However, the four major annual events that until now represented the highest national level will change in scale and become...  P3000 .

This change aims to enhance the attractiveness of the French circuit and to offer even more stakes to the biggest national competitions.

The Provençal club has become over the years  one of the iconic venues of French padel accustomed to hosting the biggest national tournaments. Several editions of the P2000 have been organized there, making Cabriès a stronghold of the circuit.

This is where the dispute is taking place.  last “historic” P2000 , the one that concludes a formula that will have marked the development of padel in France.

The P3000s will arrive as early as next season

Starting in the 2026-2027 season, four  P3000  will take over:

  •  13 TO 15 NOVEMBER 2026  :Break Padel Club
  •  19 at 21 January 2027  The Pista
  •  19 at 21 March 2027  : 4Padel Vaires-Torcy
  •  9 at 11 July 2027  : House Padel Kingersheim

The structure will remain similar, with four major stages spread over the season, but with an even more prestigious status and an increased number of points.

A place in history to be claimed

The favorites are still in contention in Cabriès, and each now dreams of adding their name to the list of winners. Beyond the title,  The winners will have the privilege of becoming the last champions of a P2000 in its historical format. .

A symbolic detail, certainly, but one that will remain as a small page in the history of French padel before the entry into the era of...  P3000 .
