It was a French pair that was appreciated on the international circuit, but the adventure is now over between  Thomas Vanbauce  et  Julien Seurin .

The two players announced that they would not continue together on the FIP circuit. This separation was motivated solely by a lack of results, with no conflict between them.

On the contrary, the two Frenchmen were keen to clarify that there was no animosity in this decision and that they had become very good friends over the course of the tournaments.

A great final in Hong Kong, but then hit a wall.

Together, Vanbauce and Seurin still managed to achieve several great performances this season.

Their best result remains this very beautiful one:

  •  final at FIP Bronze Hong Kong  last March

A performance that suggested a real rise in power for the pair on the international circuit.

But behind that, the results struggled to keep up.

The duo then regularly followed up with:

  • round of 16
  • and some quarter-finals
without managing to take another step forward.

They remain, moreover, on:

  • a quarter-final at  FIP Bronze Slovakia

Decent results, but deemed insufficient by both players in view of their ambitions.

What's next for Vanbauce and Seurin?

The question now is with whom the two Frenchmen will continue their international season.

On the side of  Thomas Vanbauce A first element has already appeared:

  • he will be associated with  Lucas Pillon  au  FIP Bronze of Marnes

The question now is whether it is:

  • a simple one-off partnership
  • or a genuine new long-term project.

Concerning  Julien Seurin No leads have emerged yet.

We will therefore have to wait a little longer before knowing the name of his future partner on the FIP circuit.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
