After several challenging months on the international circuit, Thomas Vanbauce seems to have regained positive momentum. The Frenchman now occupies the  227th place in the world , a ranking still far from his best career result ( 174th in the world ), but which confirms encouraging progress.

The player from Maubeuge has chosen to open a new chapter by teaming up with the young Spaniard  Lucas Miranda , born in 2006. A face that French fans had notably discovered during the  Bordeaux P2 where his potential had already attracted attention.

A deliberate gamble

Vanbauce wanted to play with a Spanish partner to become more immersed in the highly competitive Iberian circuit. This has now been accomplished. However, this choice comes with a degree of risk.

Lucas Miranda is currently at the  412th place in the world , with  77 FIP points This represents the best ranking of his young career. On paper, the Frenchman therefore agrees to start again with a partner ranked significantly lower than himself, relying above all on the potential for improvement in this new partnership.
