Timeo Fonteny  continues his excellent week in Slovenia. Partnered with the Swede  Albin Olsson The Frenchman, seeded 3rd in the tournament, qualified for the final of the  FIP Bronze Ljubljana  at the end of another very close match.

After dominating the Italians  Alessandro Ciaccia / Edoardo Vittorio Galbusera  in the round of 16 (6/3 6/1), then the 7th seed  Octavio Alvarez / Vinny Nahuel Di Francesco  In the quarter-finals (6/4 7/6), Fonteny and Olsson confirmed their excellent momentum in the semi-finals.

Facing the 8th seed,  Santino Giuliani Lombardo and Fabian Oviedo Berazategui , who defeated the third seed  Cremona / Richters The Franco-Swedish duo displayed tremendous composure to win in two tie-breaks:  7 / 6 7 / 6 .

This victory allows Timéo Fonteny to reach another final on the FIP circuit, but more importantly, his first final alongside Albin Olsson. A recent partnership that already seems to be bearing fruit.

In the final, Fonteny and Olsson will face the 4th seeded team, the Portuguese.  Antonio Luque and Pedro Perry .

They had to fight hard in the semi-final to overcome the number 2 seed.  Giulio Graziotti / Simone Iacovino  on the score of  4/6 7/5 7/6 .

On paper, the final looks particularly open. The Frenchman and his partner will have a real opportunity to win the title against an experienced pair who nevertheless expended a lot of energy in their semi-final.

The appointment is set  not before 16:30 p.m. on center court , resulting in a first joint trophy for Fonteny and Olsson.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
