After encouraging progress on the  FIP circuit ,  Tristan Piombo  wishes to continue progressing and is taking on a new challenge at  FIP Bronze Marne II  organized from  September 1st to 5th at Forest Hill in Marnes-la-Coquette For the occasion, the 22-year-old Frenchman is teaming up with  Simon Wagner , an established player on the French and international circuit, with the ambition to achieve a great journey together.

Piombo, an ascent that continues

Only at  22 years ,  Tristan Piombo  continues his learning and progression on the FIP circuit. After several years dedicated to tennis, particularly on the ITF circuit, the Southerner gradually turned to padel with the ambition of establishing himself permanently on the international scene. His recent results testify to this rise to prominence, notably with  quarter-finals  au  FIP Silver Narbonne  and at the FIP Bronze in Kaunas. Now based at the  347th place in the world With his best career ranking, Tristan Piombo intends to continue gaining experience and points to gradually close the gap with the best players. He will team up with FIP Marne II  Simon Wagner This represents a new opportunity to confirm this momentum.

Wagner, a regular at the top French level

It is absolutely essential not to rely on the  Simon Wagner's international ranking , currently around the  1770th place in the world , far from being representative of his true level. Former tennis player, who notably played for the  National Future Program The Alsatian discovered padel in 2019 before gradually making it his priority, notably settling in at the Big Padel Jet Academy in Bordeaux, starting in 2021.

Since then, he has established himself among the regular top-level French players, with several impressive performances in  P1500 allowing him to reach 23rd place in the French rankings, and already an interesting experience on the international circuit.  Left-handed, like Arturo Coello Simon Wagner draws much inspiration from the Spanish champion's game, particularly his style  very offensive and aggressive Teaming up for the first time with Tristan Piombo in Marnes, he will bring his experience and consistency to a pair that could have a say in the tournament.

For  Tristan Piombo and Simon Wagner this  FIP Marne II  This will therefore represent a great opportunity to confirm their ambitions. Between the  Piombo's progress on the FIP circuit  and the  Wagner's experience on the French stage The two men have complementary profiles. Now they need to translate these strengths onto the track and see how far this new partnership can take them in their first experience at Marne.
