At men's,  Thomas Leygue  et  Mario Huete  passed very close to the main painting.

After their impressive comeback in the first round against  Matthew Rivero  et  Joaquín de Astoreca  (2/6 6/2 6/3), the Frenchman and the Spaniard faced the pair composed of  Rodrigo Coello  and Swedish  Adam Axelsson  during the decisive match.

After a fight lasting more than two hours, Leygue and Huete were finally defeated.  6/7(3) 6/2 6/4 .

A frustrating defeat, especially since their first-set tiebreak victory had given them the advantage. But Coello and Axelsson gradually turned the tide to secure their qualification.
