The second day of the main draw of the  P1 of Valence  offered several surprises in both draws. In the women's draw,  Martina Fassio  et  Raquel Eugenio  delivered the performance of the day by eliminating with authority  Alejandra Salazar  et  Ale Alonso In men,  Tolito Aguirre  et  Álex Arroyo  also left the tournament prematurely, while the top seeds secured the essentials.

This victory confirms the rise of the Spanish-Argentine pair, while simultaneously raising questions about the Salazar/Alonso partnership. Having already suffered early exits at the Italian Major, the two players have now failed to advance past the first round in a second consecutive tournament.

Another notable qualification is that of  Tamara Icardo  et  Claudia jensen The Valencian woman, buoyed by her fans, dominated with her partner  Sofia saiz  et  Marta Talaván  on the score of  6 / 1 6 / 4. 

The most contested match of the day pitted  Carolina orsi  et  Patty Llaguno  à  Aranza Osoro  et  Victoria Iglesias Down a set, Orsi and Llaguno ultimately turned the match around to win. r 5/7 6/0 7/6.

Tolito and Arroyo fall at the outset

In the men's competition, the biggest surprise came from the elimination of  Tolito Aguirre  et  Álex Arroyo The number 12 seed was dominated by  Federico Mourino  et  Marc Quílez , winners in two sets  6 / 3 6 / 3.
