They were the in-form pair of the moment and they confirmed it right to the end.  Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero , seeded 3rd in  Valence P1 , won the title this Sunday after their victory against  Sofia Araújo and Claudia Fernández  on the score of  6/4 3/6 6/2 .

One week after their final defeat at the Italy Major Sánchez and Ustero bounce back in the best possible way and secure their  second title of the season , after their success at  Riyadh P1 , first tournament of the year.

For this first confrontation between the two pairs, the start of the match lived up to all expectations.

In very fast-paced playing conditions,  Andrea Ustero  She's having a blast. The young Spaniard is racking up winners and unleashing spectacular smashes from all areas of the court. On several occasions, she blows apart her opponent's defense and takes complete control of the rallies.

By his side,  Ari Sánchez  delivers a performance of great solidity, bringing all its regularity in the important moments.

Opposite,  Sofia Araújo  responds and also makes a very good start to the match. However,  Claudia Fernández  She seems slightly below the level she displayed the previous day in the semi-final. Less physically intense, less impactful in her diagonal passes, she is more vulnerable to Ustero's attacks.

At 5/4, Sánchez and Ustero took advantage of this drop in intensity to make the decisive break and take the first set 6/4.

Araújo and Fernández then gained momentum. More aggressive, they quickly took control of the set and achieved a double break, allowing them to level the match at one set apiece with a 6-3 victory.

Andrea Ustero has regained all her aggression and explosiveness. When she plays at her best, the young Spaniard becomes virtually unplayable in these playing conditions.

Facing her, Claudia Fernández tries to respond but is unable to contain the constant pressure imposed by the opposing duo.

Sánchez and Ustero quickly took the lead with an early break before sealing the victory with a second. They then cruised to win, closing out the match 6-2.

As on the previous day against Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea,  Ari Sánchez  delivered another top-level performance. His consistency and variations, particularly his famous rolls towards the grid, constantly troubled Sofía Araújo.

And when  Andrea Ustero  evolving at full intensity, she brings a power and finishing ability rarely seen on the women's circuit.

After eliminating the world number 1s in the semi-finals and then dominating the world number 4 pair in the final, Sánchez and Ustero leave Valencia with  1 FIP points  and confidence at its highest level.

On their side,  Sofia Araújo and Claudia Fernández  They can still take away a very positive week. In their first final together, they confirmed their potential, even if they will have to wait a little longer before winning their first title together.
