Padel continues to reach new heights in the Île-de-France region with the arrival of a new and ambitious project at  Marnes-la-Coquette The origin of this initiative,  Victor Teboul , a long-time organizer and enthusiast, wants to establish FIP tournaments permanently in the heart of the Paris region. Combining vision, experience, and a desire to democratize the  international circuit He lays the groundwork for a meeting that is destined to be significant.

A career path tailored for event management

Before talking about FIP, we need to go back to the origins. Victor Teboul started playing tennis at the age of four at the Racing Club de France (now Lagardère Paris Racing), before joining the sports studies program at ISP in the south, and then flying to Lynn University, near Miami.

This was followed by a year in China, a year and a half at PSG, then the creation of his own company in the import-export of promotional items related to sport.

  •  Ages 4 and up  Tennis at the Racing Club de France (Lagardère Paris Racing)
  •  Sport-studies  ISP, Sophia Antipolis
  •  USA  Lynn University, Miami, tennis player and teacher
  •  China → PSG  International experience, then 18 months at Paris Saint-Germain
  •  Entrepreneurship  Import-export of promotional items related to sports

 Padel discovered before the wave

Victor was introduced to padel well before the current boom of the discipline, first at Nice LTC almost 20 years ago, then really from 2016-2017 in Bois-d'Arcy.

The era was pioneering: no national ranking yet, impromptu tournaments, and town halls that confused padel and water paddleboarding.

“The town halls didn’t know anything about padel. They thought it was paddleboarding on the water.”

He passed his refereeing certifications (JAP1 and JAP2), competed in P100, P250, P500, P1000 tournaments and has been regularly officiating at Forest Hill in Marnes-la-Coquette for two and a half years.

A unique profile: neither a leader locked in an office, nor a player without a global vision.

 The turning point in Cyprus

The idea did not originate in a meeting room. By playing a FIP in Cyprus with Romain Sichez, a childhood friend with whom he also shared tennis courts, Victor observed from the inside what the organisation of such an event entails.

“I realized that organizing a FIP today is a bit like organizing a $10,000 ITF tennis tournament fifteen years ago.”

The conclusion is immediate: if it's feasible in Cyprus, why not in Paris, with one of the largest pools of practitioners in Europe?

The initial contact with the FIP, and then the French Tennis Federation, sets the rest in motion.

 Two tournaments, one construction strategy

  •  FIP Bronze — 18 to 24    May 2026  : Laboratory test to assess the organization and measure the response of players and partners
  •  FIP Silver — August 31 to 6   September 2026  The week before the Alpine Paris Major: strategic timing to attract the best players

Open the FIP circuit to French players

One of the central challenges of the project is to break the psychological barrier that still keeps many players away from the international circuit.

The FIP is not reserved for professionals: a license, a profile on the platform, a partner and anyone can register.

“The goal is for players to be able to discover a FIP near their home.”

Victor plans to send detailed information to as many players from the Île-de-France region as possible to explain the registration process.

The objective: a full qualifying draw, mostly French, and pairs who discover the international circuit without leaving the region.

A vibrant tournament, not just a sporting one.

To bring the project to life, Victor surrounded himself with Adrien Westermann (formerly of the Professional Football League, a specialist in partnerships and activation) and Franck Binisti.

Their motto: to build an experience, not just a tournament.

You’ll find here:

  • Smash contest
  • Football match between players
  • Lively partner spaces
  • Catering and living areas

The first edition will be free of charge to establish the event as a permanent fixture.

Regarding partners, the line is clear: to favour actors capable of providing real activation and of committing over the long term, beyond simple visibility.

Forest Hill, much more than a reception site

If the project was able to come to fruition under good conditions, it is also thanks to the commitment of Forest Hill in Marnes-la-Coquette.

Its founder, Mr. Corbière, immediately supported the initiative, giving the tournament a solid foundation from the outset.

But beyond this support, it was the whole team at the club, Frédéric, Sébastien, Claire and the others who mobilized to welcome the event in the best conditions.

A human investment that is essential for the success of the project.

 Building for the long term

“We want to build for the long term.”

Victor Teboul has a clear ambition: to make Marnes-la-Coquette an unmissable event on the FIP circuit in Île-de-France.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
