Invited to a show with the YouTuber  Ibai ,  Vinicius junior  mentioned his growing attachment to the  paddle which has become one of his favorite activities outside of football.

The player of   Real Madrid  He explains that he trains a lot, but as soon as he gets home, he divides his time between...  PlayStation  and… padel. A passion born in  Spain where sport is omnipresent.

"When I'm at home, the best thing to do is play PlayStation and a little padel. In Brazil there aren't many courts, but here there are courts everywhere. I love it so much that I installed a court at home."

A sport that is still relatively unknown in Brazil

Au  Brazil , padel remains less developed in terms of the number of courts, even though the country has produced major players like  Pablo Lima ,  Lucas Campagnolo  ou  Lucas Bergamini .
It was in Spain, through contact with his teammates and the local culture, that Vinicius discovered the discipline.

Like many footballers, he quickly took to the game, to the point of integrating padel into his off-field routine.

A trend that is also being confirmed among footballers

Installing a  private track  at his home illustrates the growing appeal of padel among professional football players.
For Vinicius, it became a means of  decompress to stay active and share moments outside of training.

Another example of the natural bridge between  Football  et  paddle , increasingly visible in elite sports.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
