Their journey ended in the first round of qualifying. Alpine Paris Major  to  Manuel Vives / Olivier Guy de Chamisso The two Frenchmen suffered a heavy defeat against the Argentinians.  Franco Dal Bianco / Facundo Luis López (TS7) ,  6/0 6/2 in just 47 minutes .

Dal Bianco / Luis López start very strong

The Argentinians immediately entered the game with tremendous intensity. Very solid and aggressive, they left virtually no space for the French.

Franco Da Bianco  He's causing a lot of damage, particularly with his diagonal pass against Manuel Vives. The Frenchman is struggling to find his rhythm and is having trouble with the top of his head. Alongside him,  Olivier Guy de Chamisso  They are putting up more resistance, but the opposing pressure is constant.

The French are failing to have a sufficient impact in  bandeja and in vibora  and regularly find themselves forced to defend. The first set unfolds:  6/0 .

Some adjustments were needed, but the Argentinians were too solid.

In the second set, Vives/Guy de Chamisso try to find solutions. Their coach  Baptiste Benetoux  Their request includes, in particular, to block more of the opponent's smashes in order to regain the net more quickly.

The adjustment works in phases and allows the French to have more of a presence. But Dal Bianco and Luis López remain too solid to truly let the match swing their way.

Despite a complicated scenario, the public was still treated to some spectacular moments.  Manuel Vives notably made two consecutive off-track excursions in the same exchange , one of the points of the match.

But that wasn't enough to seriously trouble the 7th seed, who closed out the second set.  6/2 .

A step too high for the French

after only  class , the Parisian adventure of Vives / Guy de Chamisso therefore ends as soon as they enter the competition.

A harsh scoreline, but one that primarily reflects the strong performance of  Dal Bianco / Luis López capable of imposing their rhythm from start to finish and leaving very few opportunities for the two Frenchmen.

After  Mansart / Dardaine  In the women's competition, another French wildcard has been eliminated from the Paris Major qualifiers. Leygue is therefore the last French hope remaining in these qualifiers.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
