Presented as a a credible alternative Premier Padel, A1 Padel is currently navigating a worrying gray area. Eight months after the official announcement of the cancellation of its 2025 calendar, the circuit founded by Fabrice Pastor no longer gives no sign of life.
No communication.
No update.
Neither on the Social Medianor on the Official website.
Total silence, even though the press release was published in May 2025 promised a ambitious overhaul and comeback in 2026, backed by “the world’s largest sports agency”.
Promises that have not been kept
In this press release, Monte Carlo International Sports announced:
- thecancellation of the calendar
- holding four major tournaments between September and October 2025
- another a new era for 2026
- the continuity of the Fabrice Pastor Cup
From ?
Nothing.
No announcements have been made regarding these four tournaments.
No details on the 2026 project.
No public explanation was given regarding the unpaid bonuses on certain tournaments played at the beginning of the season.
The players left in the dark
This is the most sensitive point today. Several concurring sources mention... debts on prize money, without an official response from the circuit. A difficult situation for players who, let's remember, they live off this circuit.
Some executives were even reportedly informed that they would not be paid for the tournaments in question. The logical result: players are looking for solutions elsewhere.
Premier Padel, the main beneficiary of the situation
Faced with this void, the migration began. Several pairs from A1 have already tried or are trying their luck on Premier Padel and the tournaments FIP.
The problem ?
Many top A1 players do not have of no FIP rankingThis complicates their integration. Nevertheless, some gems from the A1 circuit were revealed on Premier PadelWe are thinking in particular of Maxi Mapleor a Aimar Goñi, and of course to Tolito Aguirre et Gonzalo Alfonso, which are now true benchmarks of the circuit.
Conversely, Premier Padel finds itself in an ideal position:
- no direct competition
- recruiting trained, competitive players already experienced at the highest level
- an even more centralized circuit centered around him and the FIP
A disappearing competition, an unbalanced ecosystem
On paper, A1 Padel was shake up the established orderTo offer a different vision of professional padel, to provide different economic and sporting opportunities. Today, the situation is stark:
the circuit is stoppedwithout communication, without a schedule, without visibility.
While the 2026 project still exists, it is currently invisible.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !

Aside from your newspaper, no sensible person ever believed in this scheme built on hype and outlandish announcements like those concerning their expansion into the USA. Sorry to the players who weren't paid by the Monegasque billionaire.
It was a beautiful circuit. With magnificent champions, some of whom we also find on Premier Padel Now. Obviously, we can't anticipate potential problems. 🙂 We're sharing the great padel. And it was! 😉
