Present at the press conference after his qualification for the semi-finals of the  Valencia Premier Padel P1  next to  Juan Lebrón ,  Leo Augsburg  He made the journalists smile by bringing up an unexpected topic: his shoes.

When asked about the Nike models he currently wears on the track, the Argentinian replied humorously:

"I have a contract until 2060 with Siux“No, that’s false, I don’t have a contract with Nike!”

A joke that quickly drew reactions from the room before he clarified his situation.

"I don't have any agreements at the moment. Like the new shoes." Siux "They haven't been released yet, so I'm using these. I just change the color to match my outfit."

 A record-breaking contract with Siux

While Augsburger may have joked about the year 2060, he wasn't actually that far off the mark regarding his commitment to  Siux .

The young Argentinian has indeed recently extended his contract with the Spanish brand until  2040 , an agreement which to date constitutes one of the longest and most important ever signed in the world of padel.

Further proof of the confidence placed in someone considered one of the greatest talents of his generation.

 A meteoric rise

At just 21 years old, Augsburger continues to impress on the circuit Premier Padel.

Associated to  Juan Lebrón He remains on an excellent run of form and will play another semi-final this Saturday against  Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto .

While his sporting results continue to confirm his potential, his very long-term partnership with Siux It also shows that brands strongly believe in its future.

And given his current progress, it's a safe bet that the Argentinian will still be making headlines well before… 2040.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
