Fabrice Pastor, President of Monte Carlo International Sports, tells us that European Cup padel will take place in Monaco, in September 2020, under the aegis of FEPA: The Champions Trophy.

Interviewed by us during the Pro-Am which took place last weekend at Tennis Padel Sun, Fabrice Pastor returned to this great event as well as his ambitions at the Beausoleil club. He also announced that a European Cup would be played in Monaco from September 18 to 20, 2020.

La European Champions Trophy will be an open in pairs. The President of the European Federation of Padel, Philippe Cerfont, explains that this event will bring together the best pairs from FEPA member countries:

It will be a very nice competition which will take place in the south of France and in Monaco. The health crisis has hurt the economy of the padel. We hope that everyone can come to this great celebration of padel in one of the most beautiful French centers: Tennis Padel Sun.

We know that depending on the country, the health restrictions are different regarding COVID-19. This is why we remain very vigilant.

For the moment, we therefore imagine that France and Italy will not be part of the teams present since they are not currently members of FEPA ...

The other nations will send the pair n ° 1 in their ranking. For the moment, we do not know exactly how many pairs will regroup this competition of which the eighths and quarters will be played in Tennis Padel Sun. The semi-finals and the final will take place in Monaco, at a location yet to be determined. We will keep you informed as soon as we know more.
