This week-end,  Urban Padel Le Mans  welcomes a  P1000 and the poster already promises a dense, homogeneous and particularly interesting tournament to follow.

Jules Marie / Maxime Forcin, the men to beat

Seeded 1,  Jules Marie and Maxime Forcin  will arrive as favorites. Both men are coming off a  victory at P1000 4Padel Rouen in January their last tournament played together.
With  Maxime Forcin (13th Frenchman)  spearheading the attack and demonstrating true complementarity in the game, the pair are clearly aiming for a  second consecutive P1000 .

 Forichon/Deknuydt, a very dangerous pair

In seed 2,  Paul Forichon and Eliot Deknuydt  They form a balanced and formidable partnership on paper. Left-handed/right-handed, both in good form, they have what it takes to go far.
Deknuydt notably comes from a  victory in P1000 in January .

Boutel / Perez Le Tiec, consistency lying in wait

Seeded 3,  Gauthier Boutel and Guillaume Perez Le Tiec  constitute a homogeneous and constant pair.
Finalist of  P1000 Fort Padel Rouen Perez Le Tiec had just lost to Marie / Forcin.

Maigret / Grodenic, watch out for danger

In seed 4,  Adrien Maigret and Baptiste Grodenic  inevitably attract attention.
Maigret is  in great form , recent winner of the  P1000 No Ad Padel Reims  with Maxime Deloyer. This time partnered with Grodenic, who is lower ranked than Deloyer but capable of keeping pace, this pair could well  play the party pooper .

Solid outsiders and profiles to watch

Behind the top four seeds, the draw remains very competitive.  seeds 5 to 8  complete a homogeneous field, with several pairs capable of reaching the semi-finals.

  •  Sami Iznasni / Alexandre Boilevin
  •  Loris Morvan / Tom Houzeaux
  •  Cyril Durban / Kevin Guguin
  •  Thibault de Galbert / Alexandre Fantou

Also note:

  •  Thomas Vanbauce ,  12th French , associated to  Cyril Gaillard the highest-ranked player in the tournament
  •  Maxime Moreau and Ruben Freeman , a hybrid pair with real potential, capable of surprising over a weekend

A tournament to follow on Padel MagTV

The meetings of the  P1000 Urban Padel Le Mans  will  to follow live on Padel TV Mag from the quarter-finals , with a level of play that promises to be top-notch.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
