President Emmanuel Macron spoke on Wednesday. In his speech he announces a curfew at 21 p.m. in 9 cities in France, necessarily the padel is touched.

If you live in the Paris region, Lille, Lyon, Aix-Marseille, Montpellier, Grenoble, Rouen, Toulouse or Saint-Etienne, you are out of luck. The Head of State announced that from Saturday, October 17, all the inhabitants of these parts of the hexagon will have to stay at home between 21 p.m. and 6 a.m. for 4 weeks.

So no restaurant, no theater, cinema, bar… and therefore no padel. For those who wanted to take advantage of the All Saints holidays who arrive to have parties padel between friends, it's obviously a shame.

We will take the news with humor and say that for these holidays you may be able to play a little more during the day, or else just grab your bags and get out of town to go play in the many country clubs. Some people may have even thought of hiding in a club from 21 p.m. to 6 a.m. to have a marathon night of padel. Be careful though because the bullets make noise and you risk being spotted!

In any case we wish good luck to all the clubs which have a large attendance in the evening and which will have to adapt their agendas once again. We count on all the players to take advantage of the holidays to visit the clubs on different slots so that they can survive.
