The young Joaquin Gaitan and Fabricio Peiron created the sensation of Wednesday in Panama by defeating the 4th seed Barrera / Del Moral in two sets: 7/6 6/2!

In the other matches, the favorites performed, even if it was sometimes necessary to fight, as was the case for Egea and Torre against Guiral / Urzola (6/3 3/6 6/2).

Comfortable during their first round, Gutierrez and Saenz were quickly brought back to reality by Melgratti and Rolla who inflicted a real beating on them: 6/0 6/1!

For their return to competition after the title in Paraguay, De Pascual and Alfonso did the job with a 6/4 6/3 victory against Abud / Ferreyra.
