During the Banco Macro Salta Master, the number 1 of Fabrice Pastor's circuit, Tolito Aguirre et Gonza Alfonso, have written a new page in the history of the A1Padel. By winning their 10th title of the year, they equal the record set by Maxi Maple et Franco Da Bianco last year in Salta. An impressive performance that illustrates their domination on the circuit A1 Padel in 2024.

A controlled finale

In this final, Aguirre and Alfonso won in two sets (7/5 6/2) against Arce and Dal Bianco. In the first set, the two teams remained close on the score, but Aguirre and Alfonso made the difference at the very end of the set with a decisive break. In the second, their opponents made more mistakes, allowing the number 1s to quickly take the lead and conclude without trembling.

A numerical domination

With this tenth title, Aguirre and Alfonso display impressive statistics:

  • 65 wins in 69 games,
  • 132 sets won against only 21 lost,
  • 13 finals out of 14 possible.

These numbers speak for themselves and confirm their status as the best pair of the season. But as Tolito Aguirre pointed out after the final: “Until we win one more title, they (Arce and Dal Bianco) will remain the best.”

2 more tournaments

There are still two major tournaments to play: the Banco de San Juan Open (December 2-8) and the Master Final in Venezuela (December 11-15). Aguirre and Alfonso will try to win an 11th title, which would definitely put everyone in agreement on the circuit.
