The first part of the 8th finals ended on the A1 Salta Master side where Javier Collantes et Miguel Morales placeholder image almost caused an earthquake. Indeed, the outsiders of the meeting, opposed to Tolito Aguirre et Gonzalo Alfonso, came close to victory, after winning the first set.

Unfortunately for Collantes/Morales, the world number 1s were able to raise their level of play at the best of times and made almost no mistakes in the last set...

For the other matches, the favourites played in two sets:
