Martin Abud and José Solano  have marked the history of  Cordoba Open  by picking up their  first title  on the circuit  A1 Padel , after a prestigious victory against the  world number 1 ,  Maxi Arce and Franco Dal Bianco , on the score of  6 / 4 6 / 4 A great performance which confirms their rise to power this season.

 An intense and tactical final

From the first exchanges, the duel took a  strategic turn , with each team seeking to impose its own pace. The game was mainly based around  Dal Bianco on one side and Solano on the other , with a great baseline battle and  endless rallies .

Arce and Dal Bianco , faithful to their status as  best pair on the circuit , quickly put pressure on their opponents by obtaining  two break points in the second game . But Abud and Solano have shown  with a mind of steel  to ward off danger, a scenario that would repeat itself several times during the match.

The match then followed a dynamic where each engagement was contested,  except for Maxi Arce, imperial in his service games The difference was made in the service of  Dal bianco , put in difficulty by an impressive defense from the pair  Hispanic-Paraguayan . Thus  Abud and Solano broke in the seventh game , before concluding the first round with a game  won white  (6/4). A statistic perfectly illustrates the battle of the first set:  26 points won on each side More  Abud and Solano won the two decisive break points .

A second set under high tension

Aware that they had to raise their level,  Arce and Dal Bianco  have  saved two break points  from the first game of the second set, thus avoiding a complicated start. But far from relaxing,  Abud and Solano maintained constant pressure , making their rivals doubt each commitment.

The turning point of the match came when  of the ninth game , after an accumulation of  eight break points saved by Abud and Solano  throughout the sleeve.  Dal Bianco has once again been targeted , and this time, the heroic defense of the pair  n ° 8  ended up paying:  decisive break, 5/4 , and a victory sealed in the process on their service (6/4).

A coronation that confirms their rise

With this first title on the A1 circuit Padel,  Martin Abud and José Solano send a strong message Their journey speaks for itself:  victory in the quarter-finals against the number 2 (Pereyra-De Pascual), in the semi-final against the number 3 (Goñi-Allemandi) and in the final against the number 1 (Arce-Dal Bianco) . A high-level sequence that demonstrates  their ability to compete with the best .

This season 2025 of  A1 Padel  promises to be more contested than ever, and the  overall level of the circuit continues to soar . Next step for all these players: the  Grand Master of France , expected from  21 to 30 March Where  Abud and Solano will have the opportunity to confirm their status as the new threat on the circuit .

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
