Mario Cordero continues his internship padel in Barcelona… And describes his days…

Today is the fourth day of my Intensive Yes Sport Spirit course in Castelldefels. We are all starting to keep pace with our training days. We find ourselves happy with 8 hours on the court where Andres is waiting for us as every morning for our physical preparation session.

The article of the day will be based less on the course of our day but more on the general presentation of the course and its participants. Yes Sport Spirit courses can be tailor-made for you if you are coming for a short time, but the advantage of this "intensive" group course is that emulation makes us all move forward.

Whatever our level of practice or our experience, Isabelle does everything to ensure that the sessions are adapted to our level. She also has a large pool of local players to oppose us during the afternoon parties.

Alain came by motorhome from Belgium with his wife! Passionate of padel recently, he attended the exhibition of World Padel Tour in Brussels and he became completely addicted to the sport. His progress on the course is impressive, we see him here with Oriol the technical director of the Gimeno Center.

Virgile and Richard play together the tournaments on the French circuit. They made the trip by plane from Paris. They came to seek tactical advice and improve their technique. Ranked 58ème and 95ème French players they will be able to see the progress made during the internship as of Sunday for their entry in the P500 of Orleans.

Frédéric took his son Antoine for this internship padel family. They started playing 6 months ago and practice once a week in the Toulouse region. Antoine, who comes from tennis, has more technical ease but his father does not give up on the field and they will soon form a very correct team. Their objective ? Be able to play the next steps of the Padel Infinity Tour in Toulouse with the family!

Jacques is almost the local of the stage. He did an internship with his son 15 days ago and he stayed to continue on the intensive internship. Passionate of padel for several years, he has even been able to add a match with his Spanish friends at the end of the day on Monday. A relentless padel how few exist, and always with a smile!

Even if the levels are all different we take pleasure in talking padel and to give advice between us. Today we started to tackle the attack shots and this morning's practice was very lively on all courts. Many "Vamos" have been heard 5 kilometers around, we are starting to soak up the Spanish culture!

Afternoon relaxing for most of us even though Richard and Virgil (who were at the pool in the process of buller recover) were invited to share the session of Lara Tena Fusalba (XNUMxth Catalan player and 10th World) and her new partner Sandra.

To finish the day, club matches for Jacques, Alain, Fréderic and Antoine. On our side, we went to play with 5 Spanish players in a club with 6 covered courts a few kilometers away, the RedIndoor.

12 meters under ceiling, large door to play outside and perfect lighting. The dream !.

Another busy day that ends, more than two days of internship before returning to France.

The rest tomorrow!
