It's a surprising but promising pair that we'll find from August 4 to 10 at the FIP Bronze in Jersey:  Adrien Maigret, 38 years old , will team up with the young  17-year-old hopeful Yoan Boronad.  Although they have never played together on the international circuit, the two men know each other well: they have already shared the court on the French circuit and notably won the P1000 in La Rochelle together earlier in their careers. Between the experience of Maigret, a pillar of French padel, and the passion of Boronad, considered one of the great talents of the new generation, this partnership is as intriguing as it is arousing expectations.

 An alliance that looks like a test for the French team 

Behind this pairing also lies a much greater ambition: that of seducing the French national team staff. Adrien Maigret makes no secret of it, he has declared that the national team is one of his main objectives for this season. Ready to play on the left, the Parisian wants to show that he remains a credible option for the top level. For his part, Yoan Boronad hopes to earn his first call-up to Les Bleus, and knows that he must score points on the international circuit, the main criterion for observing the  coach Pablo Ayma . As such, this Jersey FIP Bronze is of capital importance for both players.


 A parenthesis or the end of the Fonteny-Boronad duo? 

Another topic surrounds this unprecedented association:  What about the usual duo of Yoan Boronad and Timeo Fonteny?  The two young players play the vast majority of tournaments together, and their complicity on the court is evident. Is this temporary separation simply due to Fonteny's temporary unavailability, or should we see it as a change of direction? To which we can reliably answer that  the young duo is well engaged in a long-term project  and that' a separation is not at the heart of the discussions.  Always according Padel Magazine, Y oan and Timéo each had their own requirements during these weeks of competition.  and could therefore, exceptionally, not share the track.  two French gems will be back together for the rest of the summer , with the common goal of participating in Roland Garros and why not playing together in the French team.
