The women's draw continues to shift. A new reshuffling of pairings is underway as we approach the...  Premier Padel Malaga P1 , with the main event being the separation of Alejandra Alonso  et  Alejandra Salazar .

The two Spanish women ended their joint project just a few months before Salazar's announced retirement at the end of the 2026 season. This change once again reshuffles the cards in the fight for the top spots on the circuit.

Alonso and Guinart, an ambitious new pairing

The main new feature concerns  Alejandra Alonso who will now team up with  Marina Guinart .

On paper, this new association should start as  world number 7 pair A logical union from a sporting perspective. On one hand, Alonso continues to confirm his full potential. On the other, Guinart is probably going through the best period of his career.

However, this new partnership leads to another separation.  Marina Guinart  had previously evolved with  Vero Virseda , a duo that had found a certain consistency and obtained interesting results in recent months.

Virseda has already found her new partner since she is registered at  Malaga P1  next to  Jimena velasco A different kind of partnership, between an experienced player and one of the young players making progress on the circuit.

And now, who will be Salazar's partner?

The most unclear situation now concerns  Alejandra Salazar The Spanish legend does not appear, for the moment, to be inscribed in the  Malaga P1 .

Several rumors suggest a possible association with  Aranzazu Osoro However, this option seems complicated. Both players primarily play on the right, which would force Argentina to switch sides.

To date, Salazar's immediate future remains one of the major unknowns in the women's market. This situation is reminiscent of the end of last season, when  Martina Calvo  had chosen to end their partnership.
