The semi-final of  FIP Silver Espoo  across  Arroyo / Aguirre  et  Olsson / Sebber  delivered one of the season's highlights. A point scored  Alejandro arroyo , as spectacular as it is improbable.

On a very powerful volley from the Dane  Oscar Sebber Everyone thinks the point is over. Arroyo, caught off guard, turns his back to the net and unleashes a  passing behind the back , without looking, which darts along the line on  Albin Olsson .

Immediate reaction on the field: opponents put their hands on their heads,  Tolito Aguirre  He sat in surprise. A shot out of nowhere, in the style usually associated with Tolito, but this time executed by his partner.

 A controlled semi-final

Beyond the point itself, the Spanish-Argentine pair delivered a solid performance to secure the victory.  6 / 4 6 / 4  and secure their place in the final.

A frustrating final against Hernández / Collado

Finally,  Arroyo / Aguirre  have stumbled upon the most in-form pair at the moment,  Hernandez / Collado which is essential  6/3 6/7 6/4 .

A narrow defeat, even though the objective was clearly the title after their status as  seeded 1 .

 On to the next meeting

After this final and a start to the season marked by high expectations,  Arroyo / Aguirre  will quickly have the opportunity to bounce back in the next stage of the calendar at Gijon P2.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
