It's a time of change for the World Padel Tour. After Estrella Damm reclaimed 100% circuit share, the WPT announces the name of its new deputy to the Presidency.

Former professional tennis player Alex Corretja is delighted to be part of the team World Padel Tour and suggests new projects for the circuit: “I am proud and happy to be part of the company that has transformed padel into a leading professional sport worldwide. From today on, I will strive to bring all my experience to the new project that, I am sure, will be to the liking of the players on the circuit.”

For his part, Ramon Agenjo is very satisfied with the arrival of his new deputy: “We are proud to welcome a reference like Alex to our team. Together we will face a new stage full of challenges that will undoubtedly lead us to put the competition at the forefront of the 21st century to meet the needs of players.

Will Alex Corretja be able to convince the players to re-engage with the World Padel Tour, they who have, let us recall, refused a contract extension. In view of the tensions between PPA and the WPT, we say that the former world number 2 in tennis, often preview alongside Bela on the Barcelona slopes, will have work!
