Anybuddy launches “Public Matches” to find the ideal partner

 A simple and intuitive solution

Iconic locations such as the grounds of  Jardin du Luxembourg , operated by Anybuddy until 2028 and among the most popular in the capital, perfectly illustrate this need: highly sought-after fields, but available players who do not necessarily know each other and sometimes struggle to find playing partners.

The principle is simple:

  • The player reserves a court on the application.
  • He activates the option  Public Match  (sport, level, number of players sought).
  • The match becomes visible to players located nearby.
  • Interested players join the game and pay their share directly.

Thanks to the level indicated in the profile and a reliability index based on community ratings,  Anybuddy  facilitates the organization of balanced and reliable matches.

 Removing the main obstacle to practice

" With the  Public Matches "We're eliminating the number one problem for players: finding someone available and of their skill level," explains  Frédéric Fouco , co-founder of Anybuddy.

The functionality relies on several technological building blocks:

  • a matching algorithm taking into account level, availability and location;
  • a community rating system to guarantee the reliability of players;
  • instant visibility of public matches around you, allowing you to join or create a game in seconds.

"Our goal is simple: to remove the two main obstacles to playing racket sports: finding a court and finding a partner. With the  “Public Matches” Anybuddy finally addresses both of these needs.

 A feature already adopted

Tested for three months in the North, the feature met with great enthusiasm before being deployed nationwide.

Created in 2017 by three friends from Lille, the platform now brings together more than  600 players  and reference  10 lots  tennis, padel, badminton and squash.
