Anybuddy, the French platform dedicated to booking racket sports, announces a fundraising of 2 million euros to support its expansion and enrich its service offering. By welcoming to its capital Seventure Partners, a recognized actor of the sports as well as business angels renowned such as Julien Codorniou, Martin Jaglin and Benjamin Kayser, the startup consolidates its position as leader and responds to the spectacular growth of the market paddle.
Driven by the rapid growth of the paddle and a sharply increasing demand, Anybuddy takes a new step in its development and strengthens its leadership about racket sports. Profitable and expanding, the company relies on a community of several hundred thousand users and on this fundraising accelerate its mission : connecting athletes and maximizing their playing opportunities.
An enhanced offer for clubs and the player community
With nearly 300 active players and network of 1 partner clubs, Anybuddy establishes itself as a key player in racket sports in France. For enrich the user experience, the platform launches new social features allowing players to find a partner, organize leaderboards between friends and interact with the community before and after matches. By stimulating interactions, Anybuddy intended to increase the number of games played and, therefore, the volume of reserved land.
Through its double solution, Anybuddy offers players the opportunity to book tennis, padel, badminton and other sports courts, without membership or license, while comparing prices and availability nearby. For clubs, the platform allows: maximize occupancy rate,improve their visibility andautomate management thanks to innovative solutions such as automated access control.
Profitable growth driven by a high-performance economic model
Driven by the meteoric rise of the paddle in France, Anybuddy recorded a triple-digit growth in 2024, thus exceeding 7 million euros of business volume while reaching the profitability. With the ambition of double this figure by 2025, the startup relies on a solid business model, based on a commission taken from each booking, and displays a club churn rate less than 0,5%.
