Privacy

Sanyo becomes a father in 2020. First child in a difficult period. Preventing her child from falling ill is her first concern. Bad luck, Sanyo tested positive for Covid-19 during the season, and it is really with great precautions that he remains in contact with his family.

This birth was a complete life change. In the old days everything was based on her personal life, it didn't matter if it wasn't for individual pleasure. Today with this new arrival, Sanyo changes, and you can feel it on the track.

The confinement period

This period was not easy for anyone. The union with Stupa took longer than expected because the two partners were unable to share the track, the training sessions, develop habits, a certain routine that Sanyo likes and which only appeared in the second half of the season. The confinement made it possible to gain in physical mass but did not encourage exchanges on the track. Fortunately, from the first touches of balls, this bad pass was quickly forgotten.

Return to the front of the stage

Today pair number 2, Sanyo and Stupa have a great end to the season. As said above, Sanyo needs to find a rhythm with his partner, each in his place. The previous year his union with Maxi Sánchez was very positive but sharing the track with a very good friend can lead a player to make bad choices. Today you have to earn a living, protect your family, and be a professional padel it is also about making decisions. Choosing Stupa was one of them, and the proof, it works. 3 consecutive finals and pair number 2 before the Master Final.

Goal number 1?

Of course the goal is to become number 1 because in his career Sanyo has achieved all the goals he set for himself. In order to continue to play with envy, he fixes himself the position of number 1, held by Ale Galán and Juan Lebron. This pair is so complicated to play that it forces the other pairs to increase their level of play; it is positive for all. So it is certainly very difficult to beat them in the first match, but little by little she loses sets, and even semi-finals like in Las Rozas.

The year 2021 is likely to be much busier. The mind will certainly be the part of the game that will make the difference.
