As part of the preparation for the sports calendar 2027, the Management Padel throw a national call for applications for clubs wishing to host federal tests, whether they are disputed in pairs or in teams.

This appeal concerns exclusively the sporting year 2027, with competitions scheduled between the September 1, 2026 and August 31, 2027Interested clubs now have several weeks to make their position clear.

Targeted, well-equipped clubs

They can apply all clubs affiliated with or authorized by the French Tennis Federationprovided that of at least four padel courts of the same type, with a minimum height of 7 meters.

A single club can submit its application on several tests, subject to compliance with the specific specifications for each competition. The AS 2027 calendar and associated technical documents are made available to candidate organizations.

A possible evolution of national categories

Among the points to watch, the FFT specifies that some events could change. P1500 and P2000 are likely to be reclassified as P2000 and P3000 respectivelywith a key element being prize money increase.
These developments, however, remain subject to validation by the Federal Bureau and the Federal Committee.

Regarding the current P1500 tournaments, the FFT indicates that specific feedback will be provided to applicant clubs, the Prize money for the remaining P2000 events is, at this stage, covered by the Federation..

The schedule is as follows:

  • 26 January : opening of the application period
  • January 26 to February 27 : clubs' submission of wishes
  • Friday 27 February at 23h59 : closing date for applications
  • Thursday March 26 : presentation of the draft timetable to the Federal Commission Padel
  • Friday, April 10 : transmission to the Federal Office
  • Wednesday 7 may : validation by the Federal Committee
  • Sometime in May : communication of the final schedule to clubs, leagues and committees

Flexibility in case of unforeseen events

Finally, the FFT reserves the right, in the event of a club withdrawing after federal validation, reassign the date to another organization that participated in the call for applications.
