Almost two months after the official release, the app Focus Padel releases two major updates: the Tournaments module et the court booking portal function . Interview with Richard Vendrell , the founder of the app.
PM: Hi Richard, a first assessment of the launch of Focus Padel ?
RV: Hello! Word of mouth is slowly working. We've passed the 700 registered players , which is not nothing, but we expected more people. The basic function ( creating games and entering scores , with the aim of defining the real level players thanks to our precise algorithm ), is not yet fully used.
It's hard to move the lines when it comes to the level... It's a sensitive subject that touches on the ego. But we remain confident. As a club manager, I hear players complaining every day about the poor quality of certain games played with a prominent player. Level 6 , which actually turns out to be Level 4 . By Focus Padel real levels and results of matches are revealed, we no longer waste time on the court .
PM: Regarding the developments made to the app, can you tell us more?
RV: We have just put online the Tournaments module , a very important step. Many clubs and referees already use a booking software with an integrated tournament management tool. No problem, these programs are effective.
We, with Focus Padel , we propose a tool for creating padel tournaments designed by referees , who is complete, intuitive, fast, aesthetic, precise and inexpensive We wanted to offer the best possible user experience , both for players and organizers. Thanks to our field experience and the hard work of the developers, we believe we have achieved this objective.
Speaking on Focus Padel , you have access to information on tournaments organized on the platform that cannot be found elsewhere: final ranking, FFT points earned, archiving and complete history . This is a real plus !
PM: Promising! Any other features to reveal to us?
RV: Yes, the universal court booking functionality ! It's a service so useful that we wonder how no one thought of this before . A single portal providing access quickly to club booking sites referenced on Focus Padel (more than 400 (to date). If a club does not use booking software, the app offers direct the club's phone number .
Searching is easy: just type the first letters of the club, the city or the department to see all matching clubs appear. Just one click and the reservation is made. An effective and ultra-practical tool for players living in areas with multiple clubs ( Perpignan , for example) or for those who go on vacation .
An app available only on www.focus-padel.fr
Note that Focus Padel will not be available on stores for more than flexibility and responsiveness . To create an account, simply go to www.focus-padel.fr and add a shortcut to your desktop.
