The quarter-finals of the APT Open on Swedish soil were quite simply crazy. Matches with twists and turns, snatch wins, we saw great padel here.

The first match of the quarter-finals was a clash between two Argentinian pairs. On the one hand, Maxi Eyebrows / Maxi Sanchez, from the otherthe champions of the APT Future 1000 Kungsbacka, Franco Da Bianco / Maxi Maple. We had a rematch of last week's semi-final, but the result was the same.

Franco Salto APT Sweden

The match was decided in straight sets on the score of 6-4 / 6-4. Maxi and Franco forced their opponents to make mistakes throughout the two sets and got the two breaks they needed to win the match.

Lahoz and Schaefer to the mind

In the first game of the afternoon, the Argentines Mattias Almada / Gaston Bejarano faced the Iberians Guillermo Lahoz / Diogo Schaefer. The match was marked by a lot of physical effort on the part of both pairs and it took a third set to know the winner.

While the first set fell on the side of Matias and Gáston, Diogo and Willy left with the same intentions from the start of the second. In a match that was played on points of gold, the Iberian couple was more specific in hot times. Final score 6-4 / 4-6 / 5-7 in favor of Lahoz and Schaefer.

And if it's not padel, what is the padel ?

The best match of the quarter-finals was the one between Flores / Julianoti and Quiles / Oliveira. A crazy match, with an exceptional standard.

Franck Binisti gives us here his summary of the match.

Argentine victory in the last quarterfinals match

After this exciting clash, it was the turn of the Paraguayans Jose benitez / Santiago Castaneyra and Argentines Pablo barrera / Nicolas egea to enter the track. The match was marked by very long points, which favored the Argentinian pair. Thanks to their victory, Pablo and Nicolas will dispute their second semi-final in less than a week.
