Rafael Nadal has just won his 13th Roland Garros. In order to gain access to this new title, he had to win 7 matches. What is the difference betweenATP and the WPT.

TheATP is the professional tennis ranking for men. We are not going to go into all the details that exist between the two organizations, since they are two different sports, but it may be interesting to note the performance of tennis players to access a title of Grand Chelem like Roland Garros.

Playing Roland Garros can be a tennis player's dream. Before you can reach the final table, there are qualifications. The best can reach this final stretch, of 2 weeks, where they can very quickly face the stars of world tennis like Nadal, Djokovic or even Federer.

It is obviously interesting for players with a low ranking to face these monuments of tennis, but for the seeds, it can be a trap.

As for WPT, the organization is not the same. Instead of a qualifying table and then a final table, we have 3 tables with players who start later or later according to their classification. If we take the example of the current number 1 Galan / Lebron, to win the title, they will have to play 5 games in 5 days against 7 games in 2 weeks for Nadal at Roland Garros.

On the other hand, for players full of hope, to play against these numbers 1 is thing impossible because the course is strewn with pitfalls. For a team that would start in preprévia, it would need 6 wins to only play against the numbers 1 with 2 games at the start on the same day. And to leave with the title, it would be necessary to add 5 more victories for a total of 11 victories in 8 days, inhuman.

So, what do you think ? What can be best for the padel, the players, the spectators and the show? The current WPT format or the ATP table system ?
