Arturo Coello is now alone at the top of world padel. Thanks to his victory in Valladolid alongside Agustín Tapia, the Spanish player signs his 24th title on the circuit Premier Padel, thus becoming the most successful player in history of this organization. He is ahead of... his own teammate Tapia, who has 23 titles.

This difference in a title comes from the Mexico Major 2022, won by Coello with Fernando Belasteguín against a certain Agustín Tapia, then associated with Sanyo Gutiérrez. A symbolic victory which today takes on its full meaning in the race for records.

Coello and Tapia also marked another milestone in Valladolid: with this 34th victory together, they exceed the historic Galán/Lebrón duo in total number of career titles.

Finally, this coronation has a very special flavor for Arturo, crowned for the first time on the legendary Plaza Mayor (titled last year in Valladolid but indoors). After two finals lost on this stage (2022 against Lebrón, 2023 against Stupa), this time he realizes his dream of lifting the trophy at home, in front of his fans.

A king was born. And Valladolid crowned him.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
