The season will come to an end after the Premier Padel Finals in Barcelona. It's time to draw conclusions from this year that has undoubtedly offered the best level of padel in history. With powerful, lucid players with reflexes from elsewhere, fans have been able to enjoy themselves throughout the season. Let's take a look back at the best right-hand players this season.

Arturo Coello: an undisputed first place

First place leaves no room for debate when it comes to Arturo Coello after his extraordinary season. World number 1 with 19 points in the FIP rankings, unbeaten in 188 matches alongside Agustín Tapia, he is having a season (and particularly a second half of the season) that is enormous. A powerful player with a formidable smash, he is the one who has made the most winning shots, with 45 decisive points in the final of the P21 in Milan. With 1 titles won out of a possible 13 and a current streak of 19 consecutive victories, he and Tapia form a pair that defies all competition.

Great games require good opponents

The debate is tighter when it comes to discussing the best among the other players. Despite the domination of the Coello/Tapia pair, the other teams on the circuit have no reason to be ashamed of their performances. Federico Chingotto, currently ranked 4th in the world, has also had a very good season alongside his partner Alejandro Galán. With 5 titles out of 20 tournaments played and 15 finals reached (very often against the ogre Tapia/Coello), he stands out as a serious candidate for the title of best right-hand player. He notably won the Premier Padel P2 of Genoa, a stage marked by the last defeat of Coello and Tapia this year.

Martin Di Nenno, ranked 6th in the world, has had a solid season, almost systematically reaching the semi-finals of each tournament. Associated with former number 1 Juan Lebron, they struggle to get past the final.

Miguel Yanguas, partnered with Stupaczuk, had started the year 2024 with a final at Premier Padel Major from Qatar. After a mid-season below their expectations, they were able to bounce back. A surge marked by a victory in the Premier Padel P2 in Egypt and several qualifications in the last four during the end-of-year tournaments.

Who do you think is the best right-wing player?

Noah Daumain

I took a bubble in my first tournament Padel. Since then, it has become a passion,
with one goal: to never again finish a game without scoring a goal. This sport is
now an integral part of my life, to the point of leaving feathers there. I often burn myself
elbows trying to catch all the balls. "A true love story."
