Built in 2019, the land of padel of the ES Sports Association was waiting to host its 1st official competition. Since last weekend, it's done with a P100 Men who saw Nicolas RASAMOELINA and Désiré TREUSCHEL win after 2 days of competition!

With only one land, a hell of a bet

If the construction project of a second land is in the pipeline, the ASÉS club currently only has one. So when the project to create a tournament started, Michael Klug and the organizing team did not hesitate to take up the challenge.

The particularity of organizing a tournament on a single court lies in the fact that the players will spend more time than usual on site. Quality catering and a warm welcome are the elements on which the club had bet. In the opinion of all, the challenge has been amply taken up!

The heat, registered last minute

It was hot and even very hot this weekend in Strasbourg… But that did not prevent us from seeing something beautiful. padel, between neophytes participating in their first tournament and more experienced players.
After the Saturday devoted to qualifying, 4 teams met in the final pool to determine the winners of the event. We will remember that this first tournament was won by the RASAMOELINA / TREUSCHEL pair. The second place went to the GUICHARD / HAMZAOUI pair and to complete the podium, the PEROZENI / SCHULER pair took third place.
For the club, this tournament is a real success which calls for others. The whole weekend took place in a very good atmosphere, with great encounters and… perfect timing. By finishing around 17 p.m. with the award ceremony, the storm and hail at the end of the day will have been avoided for 30 minutes. A controlled organization therefore!

Even though he discovered the padel about ten years ago in Italy, Vincent only devoted himself to it after too many “firsts” in tennis tournaments. Not much better at bandeja, he was retrained as referee, the only way to still be present at the time of the final! A lover of sport in general, this Norman expatriate in Alsace will try to make you live the news of the Padel in the “Great East”.
