ASICS presents the SONICSMASH™ FF, a new shoe dedicated to padel

Paris, December 1, 2025 – ASICS announces the launch of the SONICSMASH™ FFA new shoe model specifically designed for playing padel. Developed to meet the demands of fast movements and frequent changes of direction, this shoe is aimed at players looking for speed, stability and comfort on the court.

In a context of continued growth of padel worldwide, ASICS continues to develop equipment dedicated to this discipline, with products designed for the specific constraints of this sport and its playing surfaces.

A design geared towards fast-paced play

The SONICSMASH™ FF was developed in collaboration with the professional gamer Jorge "Coki" Nieto, currently ranked 8th in the worldwhose playing style relies heavily on speed and mobility. The model primarily targets attacking players, attentive to reactivity and agility in their movements.

The shoe is equipped with a padel specific outsoleincorporating a diagonal herringbone pattern designed to enhance grip during lateral movements and quick transitions. The technology X-GROOVE™ This allows for improved flexibility of the sole, while two circular pivot points at the front facilitate foot rotation and changes of direction.

Cushioning and stability at the heart of the midsole

The midsole combines technology FLYTEFOAM ™which provides light cushioning to the structure SPEEDTRUSS™Designed to support acceleration and stabilize the foot during dynamic movements, this system aims to maintain good responsiveness throughout the game.

Comfort and breathability

The upper of the SONICSMASH™ FF is made of breathable mesh, allowing for better airflow and more effective moisture management. This design aims to ensure consistent comfort, especially during high-intensity matches.
