They are becoming the bosses of the moment.

By winning the  Asunción P2  facing the world's number 1  Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea  on the score of  4/6 6/3 6/3 ,  Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez  make a huge impact on the circuit Premier Padel.

A victory that confirms a very clear trend:
They have now gained the upper hand over their major rivals.

With this new success, they win their  fourth consecutive final  facing Triay and Brea… and above all become the new number 1 of the  Race 2026 .

 A rivalry that defines an era 

This was already the fifth consecutive final between the two best pairs at the moment.

And once again, the show was a complete success.

On the one hand,  Gemma Triay  disputed the  101st final of his career , equalling Alejandra Salazar's historic record.
With Delfi Brea, they also performed an incredible  eleventh consecutive final .

But on the other side, Paula Josemaría and Bea Gonzalez arrive today with immense confidence.

And this was evident again in the final.

 Triay and Brea strike first 

The first set is extremely close.

Josemaría and Bea break first to lead  4/2 , very aggressive in the exchange thanks to Bea's speed and Paula's tactical reading.

But as is often the case, Triay and Brea immediately get back into the game.

The world's number 1 players raise their level in important moments and take advantage of a few opponent inaccuracies to completely reverse the dynamic.

They finally take the first set:
 6/4 .

But this 2026 version pair never panics.

In the second set, Paula and Bea immediately went back on the attack with an early break.

Stronger from the back, more aggressive on the fly and much more tactically astute, they gradually take control of the match.

Bea Gonzalez is starting to do a lot of damage, while on the other side we have a Delfi Brea, less physically impactful and struggling more than usual.

They even save  seven match points , proof of their enormous character.

With this victory, Josemaría and Gonzalez win:

Because after a slightly less dominant start to the season, Paula and Bea now seem to be totally on a roll.

As with the men's game with Galán and Chingotto, a real shift seems to be taking place in women's padel.

Triay and Brea remain extremely consistent and continue to reach finals one after another.

But today, when the big games come around, Paula Josemaría and Bea Gonzalez take over.
