The quarter-finals of the Asunción P2  begin this Friday, May 23 with the match of the day: the highly anticipated clash between the world's number 3 pair,  Stupa / Lebron , and the 9th,  Augsburger / Cardona .

The two duos, formed at the beginning of the year, have already faced each other twice in competition Premier Padel before this  Asunción P2 , which will mark their third direct confrontation.

The first meeting took place at the opening of the season at  Riyadh P1 . The two pairs had met in the semi-finals after  Augsburger / Cardona  achieved their first feat of the season by eliminating the world's number 2 pair,  Galan / Chingotto . The second confrontation took place at  Miami , the second tournament of the season for the world's best pairs (with the exception of  Stupa / Lebron , who had played in Cancun) following the players' boycott. The world's 3rd pair prevented the youngsters  Augsburgers  et  Cardona  to take their revenge, winning the round of 6 4/6 4/XNUMX.
