We could feel it coming, this separation between  Juan Lebrón  et  Leo Augsburg , since that semi-final at  Miami P1 where the Andalusian was very — even too — harshly criticized, both by fans and by Leo Augsburger's entourage, notably his agent, the Argentinian  Lisandro Borges .

The family also took a stand against Juan Lebrón, believing that young Leo Augsburger did not need him.

Paradoxically, everyone agrees on the potential of this Spanish-Argentine pair. Both players can produce dazzling performances and are capable of taking down the very best pairs in the world. Without Juan Lebrón's return to form in Miami, there's no doubt they had the opportunity to beat the world's number ones.

But Juan Lebrón unfortunately has a mentality that can sometimes spiral out of control. And this semi-final was a revelation: he, whom we perhaps thought was partially recovered, single-handedly turned the game around. It wasn't the coach.  Silingo  Who would argue with that? The latter had tried a last-ditch strategy, shaking him up to provoke a reaction, to make him realize his level of play in this third set and his state of mind, which was putting the whole team in difficulty. In vain.

For many fans, as well as for those close to Leo Augsburger, this partnership represented Juan Lebrón's last chance to return to the top. After exhausting numerous top players, Leo Augsburger decided to call it quits.

He has therefore chosen to partner with the star, starting in May.  Tolito Aguirre .

For Juan Lebrón, however, the situation is more delicate: despite his immense talent, players are no longer really rushing to share the track with him.

Note: be aware… this is a special day.
