The French Tennis Federation and Babolat announced this Thursday, the signing of a partnership contract around the padel.

The famous sports equipment manufacturer becomes an official partner of the FFT for the Padel for a period of four years (from 2017 to 2020).

50 000 practitioners ...

Discipline in full swing, the Padel attracts more and more practitioners every year. According to the FFT, we would have nearly 50 practitioners (Players who benefit from the multiplication of pitches (nearly 000 pitches created since the FFT obtained the ministerial delegation in July 150) to indulge their new passion in the most of 2014 existing clubs in France.

Babolat - the padel “Leisure” and “competition”

As part of this partnership, Babolat will accompany the "leisure" practice of Padel, in particular by supporting the training of coaches, but also competition by sponsoring the French Championships, the classification and the circuit of tournaments of the “P100” category. Babolat will also provide support to the French teams of Padel by having visibility on the jerseys.

At the same time, the FFT and "For My Padel »Jointly launch the first PadelIn collaboration with Babolat. This circuit of tournaments entitled "My Padel FFT tower, by Babolat »Starts this weekend at Padel Club de Toulouse (March 25 and 26) and will consist of 6 stages.

This competition will continue in Bois d'Arcy (at Padel Club, April 8 and 9), in Saint-Orens (at Tennis Club de l'Hers, April 22 and 23), in Valenciennes (at Big IV, July 8 and 9), in Perpignan (at Tennis Club de Mas, September 30 and 1er October) and in Lyon (at Padel Central, November 18-19). Each tournament will pit 24 or 32 teams for men and 8 or 16 teams for women.

"My Padel FFT tower, by Babolat »Will end in style with a Masters, which will be played on December 2 and 3 in Toulouse. The 16 best men's teams in the circuit standings, as well as the 8 women's teams will win their tickets for this final event.

The seven men's competitions and the two women's events, organized in Bois d'Arcy and at the Masters, are part of the P1000 category, the highest tournament rank of Padel FFT.
