This weekend was the Catalonia Championships of padel by teams, qualifiers for the Spanish championships which will take place next week.

Real Club de Polo de Barcelona have confirmed their favorite status by dominating the Catalan Championship with the head and shoulders, in both men and women. It must be said that the club was armed with players from World Padel Tour leading.

The girls' team included Ariana Sanchez, Alejandra Salazar, Marta Ortega, Lucia Sainz, or even Gemma Triay. The boys' team was led by an exceptional Argentine trio: Fernando Belasteguin, Maxi Sanchez, Agustin Tapia. To change things a bit, Bela and “El Tiburon” had teamed up this morning!

We will meet the stars of the Real Club de Polo, along with many other WPT champions next weekend, during the finals of the 36th Spanish Championship of padel, which take place from February 28 to March 01, in Santurtzi, a town near Bilbao, in Biscay.
