Bastien Blanqué, the French paddle champion 2017 and 2018 looks back on his career and his separation with Johan Bergeron.

It was another great year, both personal and sporting. It was great years with Johan Bergeron for these two years at your side in Madrid.

In December 2017, I propose him a project in Madrid, at the beginning, he will tell me no ... and the day of Christmas you remind me and fire!

We barely knew each other and yet he trusted me. In February 2017, here we are in Madrid, in the biggest club in the world, Sanset Padel with one of the best world coaches Ramiro Choya.

We went on an adventure, without any experience, without thinking for a second about what we were going to accomplish: 2 titles of Champions of France, several months instead of French number 1 and we are in the top 150 world.

We can be proud of ourselves.

We decided to separate in Spain to gain experience but we remain together on the French circuit.

We had the intelligence to discuss it and I hope we will achieve our goals!
