Unsurprisingly, Bea Gonzalez and Claudia Fernandez will be partnered for the 2025 season. The two players choose to play together, thus avoiding taking risks by venturing with other partners outside the circle of pairs number 2 and 3 in 2024. Really an optimal combination?
In a joint message, they announced their collaboration on social media:
“With great enthusiasm and emotion, I want to share some great news: my partner for the 2025 season will be Claudia fernandez, “the wonderful girl”. We have formed a work team in which we have total confidence. We promise a lot of work, humility, trust and joy. We hope you enjoy it as much as we will. See you soon! »
Both players are showing themselves to be vengeful, although they don't say anything about it publicly, preferring to respond on the court. Claudia Fernandez, for example, was left behind by Gemma Triay. Of course, the young Spaniard owes a lot to the one who is probably the most offensive player on the circuit. Their chemistry seemed perfect, and their progress was notable. It is regrettable that they were not able to continue their collaboration for another year to confirm their rise to power.
For her part, Bea Gonzalez also had to face an unwanted separation with her Argentine partner, Delfi Brea. The latter decided to partner up with Gemma Triay for 2025.
The pair's stated objective Brea / Triay will be to dethrone the undisputed world number 1, Sanchez / Josemaría, who currently dominate the circuit.
For Gonzalez and Fernandez, the goal will probably be the same. However, if they manage to grab the second place in the world, it would already be a nice answer to those who, rightly, consider their association as imposed rather than chosen.
