A very nice week for  Steffi Merah  et  Julie Razafindranaly  au  FIP Silver Mumbai , with a run that confirms their positive dynamic together.

A controlled start to the tournament

The two Frenchwomen made a perfect start to their tournament with a clear victory against  Lim / Narkprasert ,  6 / 1 6 / 1 A one-sided match, well managed, which quickly boosted their confidence.

In the quarter-finals, they inherited the  seeded 3 Japanese women  Sato/Ozawa On paper, an affordable draw… and this was confirmed on the field.

Victoire  6 / 3 6 / 2 , with true mastery. In two matches,  only 7 games conceded , proof of their robustness.

A step too far in the semi-final

In the semi-final, the level rises even further against the  seeded 2 , the Spanish  Ariadna Cañellas / Lucia Peralta Exhibition .

This time, the challenge was greater against two established players on the circuit. Despite the desire,  Merah / Razafindranaly  logically bow down.

 A very positive result

Despite this defeat, the overall assessment remains very positive:

  •  A FIP Silver semi-final
  •  25 FIP points  won each
  • A true confirmation on the international circuit

A tournament that should allow them to  continue to climb the rankings .

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
