Premier Padel today announces that beIN SPORTS will be the exclusive broadcast partner of Premier Padel – the official world tour of padel – across 37 countries covering France, the Middle East, East and North Africa (MENA), Asia-Pacific (APAC), the United States, Canada and Turkey.

The latest agreement means that the inaugural tournament of Premier Padel – the Ooredoo Qatar Major 2022 – will be broadcast in more than 120 territories around the world.

beIN SPORTS has entered into an initial one-year deal to broadcast the 2022 season with the option to extend the deal further. US and Canadian rights only include the first Ooredoo Qatar Major 2022.

The beIN SPORTS agreement covers the following territories:

  • France
  • Middle East and North Africa: Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan , Syria, Tunisia, UAE and Yemen
  • Asia-Pacific: Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Brunei
  • USA and Canada – rights only include the first Ooredoo Qatar Major 2022 at this stage

Premier Padel is the official world circuit of the padel, governed by the International Federation of Padel (FIP) and supported by the Professional Padel Association (PPA).

The circuit officially launches with the first category 1 event equivalent to a Grand Chelem, the Ooredoo Qatar Major 2022, which takes place at the Khalifa International Tennis Complex – with the tournament ending on April 2, 2022.

Records have already been broken for the Qatar Major with:

  • 123 pairs entered
  • 19 countries represented
  • a prize money of €525
