In a lengthy interview for Men's Health, the Argentinian, who like Roger Federer is sponsored by Wilson, would like to see the Swiss at the padel.

Si many professional tennis players are already completely addicted to padel, we do not have still not seen Roger Federer at work on the “20 × 10”. Such a talented player, with such a hand, and so comfortable at the net, would certainly be just as magnificent to watch playing on a padel than on a tennis court.

The fact that Switzerland now shares the same racquet sponsor as Fernando Belasteguin, real world star of padel, makes us dream of a small exhibition featuring the man with 1242 victories on the ATP circuit and the “leyenda de Pehuajo”!

Asked by Men's Health, the Argentine said he would like to see the Swiss try his hand at his sport: ”It would be amazing to see Roger Federer with a racket from the padel in the hands. I am hopeful that at some point we will be able to do it, it would be a great moment for our sport! ”

And we also hope that these two champions of racket sports will soon be able to offer us at least one small exhibition together ! For this, Roger can already count on a pala with the same name as his legendary tennis racket: the Wilson Pro Staff !
