Let's go for the  Madrid P1  ! Qualifying begins this Saturday and two French pairs are competing in the men's competition, with the aim of reaching the prestigious main draw which will start on Tuesday at the  Movistar Arena .

Bergeron / Blanqué faces a big test

Johan Bergeron (107th)  et  Bastien Blanqué (106th)  will have to raise their level from the start. They face the Italian  Marco Cassetta (83th)  and the Argentinian  Juan De Pascual (222nd) , former resident of the A1 Padel now in transition to Premier Padel.
Their match is scheduled for  third rotation of 14 a.m. on court 2  du  Coslada Pro Padel Club , qualification site.

Guichard with Graziotti for a premiere

For its part,  Dylan Guichard (134th)  makes his debut with his new partner, the Italian  Giulio Graziotti (123rd) The draw did not give them any gifts: they will challenge the seeded 4 of the qualifications, composed of the Argentinian  Juan Ignacio Rubini (69th)  and Spanish  Alonso Rodriguez (98th) .
A match scheduled for  third rotation of 14 a.m. on court 1 .

A possible Franco-French duel

If the two French pairs make it through this first round, they would find themselves... face-to-face, for a qualifying match towards the main draw. A special scenario for the three Frenchmen, but one which would have at least one merit:  ensure a French pair in the big Madrid table .

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
