Entrepreneurs of padel will be brought together soon by the French Tennis Federation. The president of the FFT thus responded to the clubs of padel in the hard with this health crisis which weakens the ecosystem of padel French.

A much awaited conference

For several weeks, we have seen more and more private clubs take up the niche “For more justice in the actions carried out by the FFT in the padel". The health crisis has not helped the private structures which are hard today and which fear for their future.

The FFT has announced substantial financial assistance with 35 million euros to revive and support the activities associated with the FFT of which the padel. Except that, private clubs fear to be “still forgotten by the FFT, widening the gap between the treatment of affiliated clubs and authorized clubs".

Private entrepreneurs want to see the FFT policy completely revised:

Unfair competition is pervasive in the padel. We even have the impression that the FFT does everything to use us when it needs us while trying to maintain us.

We do not criticize the FFT's investment in financial terms. We criticize its implementation and its general organization.

The FFT: A great pressure?

The FFT has other problems currently with this unprecedented crisis. But it is also the time for her to see what is wrong. The padel is boiling. We see on social networks club managers and players wondering if “il should not ask for the independence of padel with a dedicated federation ” This is to say the exasperation of the clubs which globally recognize the power of the FFT and the financial means put on the table.

Paradoxical? not that much. What is pointed out is its use.

The FFT does not have the right to fail. Everything is green. The padel is booming. Whatever the FFT's policy, the padel in France is developing. The FFT is one of the largest sports federations in the world with a pharaonic budget compared to all the other federations of padel.

It can only succeed. However, we have the impression that it is haro on the clubs of padel private.

The FFT does not seem to have the right to failure because for the world of padel, France has all the cards to do something big. This conference of clubs padel private sector announced by Hubert Picquier, the elected official in charge of padel, is eagerly awaited by clubs. Hopefully it will lead to a good step forward for the padel French.

Hubert Picquier: “The conference of clubs padel private, soon! "
