La 3rd stage of the Betclic Remontada Padel took place at 4Padel from Reims, a newly opened club that hosted this event for the first time. It was a success with more than 100 participants gathered for an intense and friendly competition. Here are the highlights of this stage.
A competitive Old School
The category Old School was particularly competitive, with teams having a total pair weight of less than 95 years. Two of them distinguished themselves by achieving a remontada from field 5 to field 1. One of them managed to impose itself, while the other unfortunately could not maintain its position.
Familiar faces on the courts
Among the participants, there was the presence of Ludovic Butelle et Michael Tacalfred, two well-known footballers, as well as other sports figures. Their participation added a touch of prestige to the event.

Bombazo Challenge by Babolat
Le Bombazo Challenge by Babolat was a challenging moment for the players. The Reims players were however a little timid on this exercise, with a best smash measured at 11,80 m, well below the record set at 15,80 m.
Strategic innovation: field 4 eligible for freebets
This year, the grounds n ° 1 et n ° 4 were eligible for the freebets, prompting some pairs to develop strategies to maximize their chances of playing on these privileged courts.
What comes next?
The next step of the Betclic Remontada Padel will take place at 4Padel from Rouen, 15th to 18th, . A new opportunity for the players to shine and for the spectators to experience thrilling moments.
