Bastien Blanqué and Maxime Joris have won their first title together. The French pair triumphed this Sunday at the FIP Bronze tournament in Frascati, defeating the Italians Giulio Graziotti and Simone Iacovino, the tournament's top seeds, in the final. This victory rewards a fledgling but already very promising partnership. 

A first title in only their fourth tournament

It only took four tournaments for Bastien Blanqué and Maxime Joris to add their names to the list of winners of a FIP tournament.

After an encouraging quarter-final performance at the FIP Silver tournament in Koksijde, the two French players confirmed their upward trajectory this week in Italy. In Frascati, they strung together solid performances, steadily improving with each match.

After successively eliminating  Pablo Castillo Valverde (269th) / Flavio Fioriti (601st) ,  Leonardo Abbate (547th) / Gabriele De Angelis (1423rd) ,  Hugo Lorenzo Serrano (337th) / Martin Martinez Perez (474th)  and  Rodrigo Manrique (325th) / Abraham Muñoz (274th)  In the semi-finals, the French concluded their magnificent week by winning the final against the favorites, Italy.  Giulio Graziotti (150th) / Simone Iacovino (171st) .

This first joint title validates the choices of the two players, who decided to join forces just a few weeks ago.

A success that does both Frenchmen good.

This victory holds particular importance for both players.

For  Maxime Joris This is his first title on the FIP circuit since his victory at the  Singapore FIP Bronze , won alongside Manuel Vives. After several months marked by changes of partners, the Frenchman finally returns to the top step of the podium.

For  Bastien Blanqué This trophy perhaps has an even more special flavor. The former French number one was going through a difficult period on the FIP circuit, with results falling short of his ambitions. This title allows him to smile again and, above all, to rediscover the taste of victory, a feeling he hadn't experienced since his success at the  FIP Bronze from Manila  in March 2025, alongside Johan Bergeron.

A French pair that's gaining in stature
